Loacker Kicks Off Second Annual PowerMom Day with Fitness Influencer Massy Arias, Parents Magazine and More

Global confections brand, Loacker, kicked off their Second Annual PowerMom Day on Thursday, May 10th 2018 at Gary’s Loft in Manhattan.

Participating panelists included Fitness Influencer Massy Arias, Parents Magazine Digital Director Julia Dennison, Rockets of Awesome CEO & Founder Rachel Blumenthal, Fast Company Senior Editor Kate Davis and People TV Host Lola Ogunnaike who served as Moderator. PIX 11 Reporter Narmeen Choudhurry participated as event Chairwoman.

Loacker’s PowerMom Day also included interactive workshops led by Dr. Joanna Stern of The Child Mind Institute, Digital Influencers Destiney Green of Mom Crush Monday, Ambrosia Malbrough of Brosiaaa and Brianne Manz of Stroller in the City, along with Pilates Expert Lynda Salerno Gehrman of Physio Logic NYC Pilates and Movement and Cricket Azima of The Creative Kitchen.

This free event served as a grand meeting of maternal minds and featured interactive workshops led by industry experts and a dynamic panel discussion that focused on balancing motherhood, career and self. Following the panel was an awards ceremony and a charitable donation to No Kid Hungry, culminating with a networking, cocktail hour. Parents Magazine served as the official media sponsor.

Each workshop correlated in theme with a pillar from Loacker’s brand values, which includes respect, family, authenticity, nature and quality. This unique format allowed for mothers to have their parenting questions answered in an intimate setting with leading professionals.
